Church Life Classes
We desire to help every person reach their potential in Christ and offer three classes at different times throughout the year to orient people to our church, Christian doctrine and spiritual disciplines.
Church Life 101 : Discovering Membership (Belonging)
To lead people to Christ, and to membership at Mill Woods Assembly.
There is something powerful about being a member of a community, and even more so when that community is part of the Kingdom of God! Church Life 101 will start you out on your journey, as well as open a door for you to become a part of much more that Mill Woods Assembly has to offer.
Church Life 101 is a prerequisite for membership in our church and for many ministry opportunities we have available.
Church Life 201 : Discovering Maturity (Growing)
The purpose of this course is to grow people to spiritual maturity. We are life-long learners - always growing in intimacy in our relationship with Jesus Christ, and in understanding and application of His Word in our lives.
Church Life 301 : Discovering Ministry (Serving)
The purpose of this course is to equip people with the skills they need for ministry. It is a huge step in the life of a Christian to go from taking in, to pouring out to others. There is only so much of Christianity we can have by getting - and the rest we receive by giving. This course will lead people into that journey and provide some options of where they can serve.
