Sunday Morning

The nursery opens 5 minutes before each service and children can be dropped off at any time during the service. Parents receive a vibrating pager to alert them if their child requires their attention.
DiscoveryZone
Toddlers 2 years old by November 1, 2010.
Registration opens 5 minutes before each service and children must be registered within the first 20 minutes of the service (by 9:20 or 11:05). Parents receive a vibrating pager to alert them if their child requires their attention.
Sprouts Preschool
Children 3 or older by November 1, 2010 and not yet in Grade 1.
Children register at the stations in the main lobby and sit with their parents\guardians in the main auditorium. Approximately 20 minutes into the service an announcement will be made and our teachers (wearing bright green vests) take the children to their classes.
Parents receive a 'household tag' that has a 4 digit number. If your child needs your attention during the service, this number will be displayed on a screen in the main auditorium. (If you have younger children in the nursery and have a pager, you will receive a page as well).
At the conclusion of the service you can collect your child from the preschool rooms on the second floor (use the stairs by the nursery).
Preschool classes are grouped by the child's age on March 1, 2010:
Age 3 Sprouts A
Age 4 Sprouts B
Age 5 Sprouts K (Kindergarten)
Children who turn 2 between November 1 and March 1 will join DiscoveryZone in January.
Children who turn 3 between November 1 and March 1 will join Sprouts Preschool in January.
GrowZone Elementary
Children in grades 1 - 6 for the 2010/11 school year.
Children register at the stations in the main lobby and sit with their parents\guardians in the main auditorium. Approximately 20 minutes into the service an announcement will be made and our teachers (wearing bright green vests) will take the children to their classes.
We have a worship service together in the gym and then children go to small groups. At the end of the service the groups assemble in the gymnasium and room 1042 where you can collect your child.
About our registration system...
Keeping your kids safe is at the core of our programs. We use a computerized system for all our church's children's programs to help provide a safer environment for children and families. Here's a quick guide to how children are registered, cared for and released from our programs:
Every family must complete a 'Family Registration Form'. On the form you can list other individuals who can pick up your kids.
Children who are not yet in grade 1 must be dropped off and picked up by an 'authorized' adult - either a parent or other authorized adult (16 years of age or older). These individuals should be listed on the 'Family Registration Form'.
Adults dropping off kids are assumed to be authorized to pick them up. Please let us know if special circumstances apply.
Digital photos are taken of children and parents\guardians to ensure that only permitted adults are collecting children.
Children in elementary programs (grades 1-6) can register themselves and are dismissed at the end of the adult service.
