LIFE TEAMS
What is a Life Team?
At Mill Woods Assembly we call our small groups "Life Teams". These groups meet regularly to share friendship and grow in Christian faith application together. Groups meet in homes around the city on different days of the week. You can choose a group based on location, day or your peer group.
Why Small Groups?
We need each other. We believe that each person has a gift of encouragement to share and receive. By giving and receiving these gifts we expand our Christian faith application and love for Christ.
"As iron sharpens iron, a friend sharpens a friend" - Proverbs 27:17 NLT
An invitation to newcomers.
Joining a life team is a great first step if you are new to attending Mill Woods Assembly.
We understand that the sea of faces you see on a Sunday morning in the lobby can be daunting. We have all experienced a "first time coming to church". That's why along with attending one of our Change Point services on a Sunday we'd like to especially encourage you to join a life team. You will meet real people with real lives learning to make life choices based on Christian truth. You will be amazed how quickly you will feel at home with your new church family.
It's Fall...
This fall our life teams will be starting a new all church Life Team study "Scared Roads". The sense of genuine community in our small groups grows as we study, pray and serve together. There are life teams waiting to get to know you!
